📋 Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Sketch the Main Wedge Shape
Place your paper vertically and use an HB pencil to draw a tall triangle with softly rounded top and side corners. Make the bottom line gently curved downward rather than completely flat to give the ice cream a natural, juicy curve.
- • A soft, rounded triangle shape centered in the upper two-thirds of the page.
- • Drawing sharp, pointy corners instead of soft, rounded edges.
Add the Watermelon Rind Bands
Draw two parallel curved lines across the bottom of the triangle following the curve of the base. The first strip creates the white/light-green inner rind layer, and the bottom section forms the dark green outer rind.
- • Two stacked horizontal curved strips running along the entire bottom edge of the triangle.
- • Making the rind stripes straight across instead of following the curved base.
Draw the Wooden Popsicle Stick
Draw two straight vertical lines extending downward from the center of the dark green bottom rind. Connect them at the bottom with a smooth semi-circle to complete the rounded wooden stick handle.

Draw the Kawaii Cute Face
Inside the main wedge area, draw two large circles for the eyes with two tiny white highlight circles inside each. Place a small, curved 'U' shape between the eyes for a smiling mouth, and add two tiny horizontal ovals beneath the eyes for rosy cheeks.

Sketch the Watermelon Seeds
Add four to six small teardrop shapes scattered in the empty spaces above and beside the eyes. Point the narrow tips of each teardrop upward to make them look like classic watermelon seeds embedded in the ice cream.
