Diagnose the Puzzle Anomaly
Examine the solved state of your 3x3 cube to determine the root cause of the impossible state. Check if you have a single corner oriented incorrectly while all other pieces match, a single inverted edge piece, or two swapped corners. These configurations are mathematically impossible via normal rotations and require manual physical correction.

Turn the Top Layer 45 Degrees
Rotate the upper face (U layer) exactly 45 degrees relative to the rest of the cube body. Aligning at this angle prevents internal tabs from snapping during piece extraction or twisting.
