๐ Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Laminate and Profile Foam Terrain Base
Stack and glue high-density XPS foam slabs with foam-safe adhesive to represent mountain elevations. Transfer contour lines and the projected canal bypass path directly onto the top slab with a marker.

Carve Mountains and Trench the Canal Channel
Carve stepped elevation tiers using the hot wire foam cutter to shape rugged canyon ridges. Cut a uniform 1-inch-wide, flat-bottom trench through the central ridge to define the engineered canal corridor.

Apply Plaster Shell and Rock Textures

Prime and Paint Desert Topography

Seal Canal Bed and Dam Openings
